Encaustic Wedding Paintings

I've moved...
With the recent growth of my business I am now regularly updating my work on my new website, www.inowpronounceupaintings.com or you can still follow me on facebook.
Thank you to all who have supported me!

In 2009 I began the unique process of burying wedding invitations into a layered abstract painting as a personal wedding gift for the bride and groom of the wedding I was invited to. This process allowed me to enjoy the two concepts that I am passionate about-- painting and creating a personal gift for a loved one's home through the use of my artistic talent.

These paintings combine the individuality of the original wedding invitation with personal touches of the wedding colors, new last name and date of the momentous occasion.  I find my inspiration in the invitation itself, as well as the personality of the couple and the home they are building together.  This is a one-of-a-kind keepsake for a bride and groom that offers original artwork and the preservation of the invitation through encaustic mediums. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in this type of gift for an upcoming event by finding my on facebook at www.facebook.com/INowPronounceYouPaintings.
